Since its revival in 2011, the Patna Electric Traders Association, now Bihar Electric Traders Association, has come a long way. The second largest organisation of traders in Bihar, BETA is a 500+ member body. Under the able leadership of its founder President Shri Dinesh Kumar Agrawal, the organisation stood up on its feet and grew at an unbelievable pace. In the years gone by, our Association took up the grievances of its members to the Government of Bihar on several occasions. Social welfare programs were also taken up on a routine basis to help the needy. Fellowship amongst the members found a new dimension with the Holi milan& other such programs held every year.
The Bihar Electric Traders Association has been publishing a diary cum souvenir every year for the benefit of its members. The diary serves as a yellow pages for the electrical traders. Apart from technical information, the diary contains the complete contact details of all its members. Almost all the electrical companies advertise in the diary which enables the members to remain updated on the suppliers.
We have also been organising Electrical Trade Fairs every alternate year. Last year in January 2017, a world class Electrical Trade Expo (PETS 2017) was organised under the able leadership & guidance of our Immediate Past President Shri Ramesh Agrawal.

The Expo, sponsored & co sponsored by Havells India Limited & Anchor Electricals Pvt Ltd respectively, was given a totally new dimension and the companies from all over the country wondered how such a mega trade fair can be organised in Bihar ! It was a dedicated team work led by the Expo Chairman Shri Anil Ritolia ji. We are organising the 5th edition of this Mega Electrical Expo from 4th to 7th January 2019 at the New Patna Club, Patna. This time, Greatwhite Global Pvt Ltd is the Title Sponsor of the event. By organising trade fairs of this level, BETA aims at providing a platform for both, the exhibitors as well as the visitors, to interact and become aquainted of the latest updates in the electrical trade & industry. It enables both B2B & B2C interactions.
I would appeal to all members to come together and make this association more powerful and capable than ever to handle all our problems. I also urge everyone to regularly provide inputs towards the improvement in this mammoth organisation. I look forward to your whole hearted support and cooperation in the years to come.
